My meditation classes are suitable for beginners. I will guide you through each practice step-by-step, offering clear instructions and gentle encouragement along the way. No prior experience is necessary, all you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore. Also, if you have meditated before and are looking to deepen your practice or practice in a group, my classes are the perfect opportunity to do so. I truly believe that everyone can learn to meditate; we just sometimes need a bit of guidance to find the right technique for each individual.
Chakras are energy centres within the body, originating from ancient Indian traditions. There are seven main chakras, each representing different aspects of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These energy centres are believed to affect how we feel, think, and experience the world.
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Located at the base of the spine, it's linked to grounding, stability, and basic survival needs.
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Found just below the navel, it governs emotions, creativity, and sensuality.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Situated in the upper abdomen, this chakra relates to self-confidence, personal power, and control.
4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – At the centre of the chest, it connects with love, compassion, and relationships.
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Located at the throat, it’s associated with communication, self-expression, and truth.
6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Between the eyebrows, it represents intuition, wisdom, and insight.
7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – At the top of the head, it symbolises spiritual connection and enlightenment.
Each chakra can become blocked or imbalanced, which can lead to physical or emotional discomfort. Meditation, breathwork, and other holistic practices can help to rebalance these energy centres, restoring harmony and well-being.
I offer a variety of meditation techniques to suit different preferences and needs. These may include mindfulness meditation, breath awareness, loving-kindness meditation, body scan, guided imagery, and more. My classes provide a diverse range of practices so you can discover what works best for you.
